डरा हुआ, मैं थका हुआ,
गहन तिमिर से ढका हुआ...
क्रोधी हूँ, अभिशापित हूँ,
पर वादों से मैं थमा हुआ...
चाहूं और फिर मुड जाऊं,
मैं आत्मघात से डरा हुआ...
करता भी तो क्या करता,
मैं अपने-आप से कटा हुआ...
डरा हुआ, मैं थका हुआ,
गहन तिमिर से ढका हुआ...
जितनी चंचल मन की चाहत,
उतनी राहों से मैं जुडा हुआ...
राहें तो हैं कई मगर, अपनी
मंजिल से मैं डिगा हुआ...
राहों पर जमघट है, फिर भी
एकाकी मैं भुला हुआ...
डरा हुआ, मैं थका हुआ,
गहन तिमिर से ढका हुआ...
कागज़ कलम दवात के संग,
मैं अपने-आप मै रामा हुआ...
शब्दों के इस हेर फेर में
रचनाकार मैं मंजा हुआ...
श्रोता, दर्शक, वांचक सबके समुख,
नतमस्तक मैं खड़ा हुआ...

The clarity of thought screams in your writing. I just loved the second para, it somehow reminded me of great lines by the legend :
हजारों ख्वाहिशें ऐसी कि हर ख्वाहिश पे दम निकले
बहुत निकले मेरे अरमाँ, लेकिन फिर भी कम निकले
Darkh k har shaakh pe ajeeb khaamoshi hai,
har cheekh k peeche chaya sannata khamosh hai,
pehchaan is khaamoshi ko, tu is khamoshi se hi bana hua hain.
ye aise hi tha per ........

Wow First of all kudos for knowing this god hindi in todays time... secondly I think this is one of the best i read so far.. Its all very well put together. Its shows patience an thoughtfulness of the writer... weldone

I pondered a lot over what to write. Most of my initial thoughts have been expressed in the above comments. All of it true. I believe your words have the power to move every reader and make every writer wish "Why didn't I think of this?". For me your poems are like those books that you wish would never come to an end and you could just keep reading. It makes me want to read, re-read and read more, it makes me want to write better and think different myself..please keep writing or it would be a Big Loss for us, your Fans. :)
